Collection: EMERGE
Sweetpea Gallery is excited to announce Emerge: an exhibition of original works by our roster of early career artists, taking place at ECAH from April 21st to May 7th, 2021. Emerge will showcase vibrant, large-scale paintings on canvas, as well as experimental works in a variety of other mediums. Practices include video, photography, drawing, and unique mediums such as embroidery and puppetry.
Emerge comes at a time when we’ve only just shed our winter layers, cherry blossoms are blooming, and the sun is shining more. With this new season, our artists are trying new things—experimenting with scale, texture, and fresh colour palettes.
Sweetpea Gallery invites you to join us in welcoming a new season of creativity.
Sweetpea Gallery respectfully acknowledges our location on the unceded territories of the Lekwungen-speaking peoples, now known as the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations.
