The Greenhouse

Sweetpea Gallery is looking for several artists looking for a growing season for our artist residency. 

We are looking for emerging artists who could use an opportunity to spend more time creating work and exploring commercialisation. 

So what happens? You get 150sq studio space in our Victoria, BC HQ for 2 weeks with an Open House style gallery show (pending SP staff availability and the project) for the last weekend. This space is wheelchair accessible, but the washroom can only be accessed by the stairs. There is a kitchen with a fridge, lighting, a desk, and chairs included. Housing is not provided.

This residency costs $160, payable upon confirmation of your dates and you can be refunded $75 with at least 2 weeks notice. All work sold as a part of the Open House will have a 50% commission to the gallery and will contribute to the cost of the residency (you can the entire cost back if we are able to sell $300 of work).
