The Greenhouse

Sweetpea Gallery hosts the Greenhouse Residency in our Victoria, BC HQ. 

This residency is focused on emerging artists who could use an opportunity to spend more time creating work and exploring commercialisation. 

So what happens? You get 150sq studio space in our Victoria, BC HQ for 2 or 4 weeks with the opportunity for an Open House style gallery show (pending SP staff availability and the project) for the last weekend. This space is wheelchair accessible, but the washroom can only be accessed by the stairs. There is a kitchen with a fridge, lighting, a desk, and chairs included. Housing is not provided.

This residency costs $180 for 2 weeks and $320 for 4 weeks, payable upon confirmation of your dates and you can be refunded $75 with at least 2 weeks notice.

We typically open our call for submissions at the end of the year, but occasionally have cancellations or changes of plans and time because available. Keep an eye on our Instagram for any updates!
