alek green (he/they) is a trans settler residing in traditional Mi’kmaq territory, currently working towards his BFA at NSCAD. he is a research-based artist, with most of their work concerning sound theory and its intersection with queer lived experience.
he is co-founder of new artifacts, and is responsible for flower electronics, a periodical publication showcasing queer experimental sound art and theory.
he creates work that fosters community through shared interest and collective love.
